About

I have built my career on developing people and organizations. An expert on culture, with a Ph.D. in the humanities from the University of Chicago, I have held faculty roles at Princeton University, U.S.C., and Pomona College. I left my tenured position at Pomona to earn an M.B.A. in strategic management from Wharton. Since then, I have consulted in McKinsey's Strategy and Organization practices; founded and led Google's central learning and development program; worked in talent management at Standard Chartered Bank; and built and led People and Organization Development and Public Affairs at Agoda.com, the Asia-based subsidiary of the Priceline-Booking Holdings group, the world's leading online travel platform.
I am currently working with Agoda's co-founder and chairman on a curriculum and publication project, The Human-Centered Organization.
